Stay in FWISD and expand your options! Gold Seal Choice Programs are the lottery application for Schools of Choice and Programs of Choice in STEM, CTE, arts, languages, Montessori, and more. It’s separate from traditional transfers and is completed in Parent Portal.

Transportation
FWISD provides transportation for eligible students who live within district boundaries:

General Education: 2+ miles from assigned campus (or accepted program campus)

Special Education: as determined by the student’s IEP
Two-Way Dual Language (Optional)
Two-Way Dual Language is a bilingual/biliteracy program (English + Spanish) offered at select campuses.

English-speaking students must start in Pre-K, Kindergarten, or 1st grade (first semester)

Students already in Two-Way Dual Language do not reapply each year

Placement for new English-speaking applicants is lottery-based during the application window
