What is Gold Seal?
Gold Seal is a lottery-based transfer system that gives families more options when choosing the right school for their child.
Schools of Choice are smaller learning community of students with similar interests: Career and Technical Education, STEM, Visual & Performing Arts, World Languages, Applied Learning, or Montessori. Many Schools of Choice do not offer UIL athletics and fine arts.
Programs of Choice are specialized programs located WITHIN a school. The school may be a neighborhood campus or a School of Choice.
