Gold Seal Choice Programs
Gold Seal Choice Programs are FWISD’s lottery application for Schools of Choice and Programs of Choice (specialized pathways in areas like STEM, CTE, Visual & Performing Arts, World Languages, Applied Learning, and Montessori. Families across North Texas use Gold Seal to find the right fit beyond a traditional neighborhood school track.
Note that Gold Seal is separate from traditional enrollment.
Start by creating your Parent Portal account and enrolling your student. Then apply to Gold Seal Choice Programs during the application window.

Two-Way Dual Language (Optional)
Two-Way Dual Language is a bilingual/biliteracy program (English + Spanish) offered at select campuses.

English-speaking students must start in Pre-K, Kindergarten, or 1st grade (first semester)

Students already in Two-Way Dual Language do not reapply each year

Placement for new English-speaking applicants is lottery-based during the application window

Non-native Spanish speakers must complete both the district enrollment and the TWDL application.

Transportation
FWISD provides transportation for eligible students who live within district boundaries:

General Education: 2+ miles from assigned campus (or accepted program campus)

Special Education: as determined by the student’s IEP
