New School Start and End Times Coming for 2025–26!
To better support our students, families, and staff, Fort Worth ISD is updating school start times beginning in the 2025–26 school year.
These changes reflect valuable input from parents and are designed to improve daily routines, streamline transportation, and enhance the overall school experience.
Elementary schools will now begin at 7:40 a.m., and end at 3:10 p.m., while middle and high school start and end times will remain unchanged.
2025-26 school year start times:
- Elementary Schools: 7:40 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.
- Middle Schools: 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- High Schools: 8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
- Early College High Schools: 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
